We arrived in Wellington at 8am on a beautiful cold crisp day. Met Alan our bus driver for the week and set of to The Brentwood Hotel for some breakfast, passing Mr. Gallagher’s old house on the way. Once everyone had checked in the squad went for a six kilometre run around the harbour and ended up in the nearby sports centre for a swim. Particular mention must go to Rhys Bailey, for his ability to belly flop off the diving board better than anyone else. In the evening those that could stay awake watched the Tri Nations game in the hotel before heading to bed for a well earned rest.
